A short film made for FCB Cure, a full-service healthcare agency focused on creating marketing for healthcare professionals; they are part of the FCB Health Network, one of the world's most awarded communications networks.
Combining real scenarios with stop motion animation, the idea of this project was to have a little “healthcare advertising avenger”. An action hero who comes to life in the creative office, when everyone has gone home, and suddenly goes crazy, when he sees the typical brief with smiling people, and with 0 creativity.
Design proposals for the central character of the story. The hero had to be inspired classic action figures.
We built the puppet in two sizes: the standard size and a slightly larger one for close-ups. The pieces have been modeled in clay and with them we created the mold. The final elements were created in resin.
The animators worked with the software Drangonframe and with Sony alpha cameras and 8K resolution. We used After Effects in postproduction and Davinci Resolve for the color correction.
